Had dinner with friends on the deck. Everything was excellent! There were several of us, so gnocchi, rib eye, scallop and crab cake appetizers, fish tacos, and blueberry baked Alaska!! The service was also exceptional. Highly recommend!

This is based on, and tempered by, the fact that we were THE first group of the season for the hotel this year. As was pretty much everyone inundating the hotel this day / afternoon / evening, we were part of a cruise-tour, beginning our journey in Fairbanks. We came a day early, staying in another hotel our first night, so were able to check in here relatively early. This can be worth the money and effort at SO many levels - earlier arrival than most of the throngs of tourists, better flight times, more rested, etc... Our check-in was fairly straight forward. Because we were early, they stored our luggage while we toured around Fairbanks for the day. This process was mostly good, except that we got back around 5:00, and the luggage storage was no longer manned. We had to track someone down - not a problem, just minor inconvenience. We picked up our keys and luggage tags from the tour desk, so in short order we were in our rooms with our luggage, preparing for the next day's travels. Note that we heard a LOT of issues with others' rooms, including keys not working, or double booked rooms with people walking in to other guests' luggage in the room they were given keys for. To the best of our knowledge, this was worked through one person at a time, but it was quite the hub of activity with the many issues! Odds are, if you're here, you're part of a tour of some sort. Decent service and amenities, friendly people who of course have to field a number of issues, and just plain crowded when dinner (night before) or breakfast (day of a tour) can be chaotic. We opted not to eat here for dinner (at in town - shuttle is great) but the rest seems decent, if not stellar. Enjoy the rest of your tour!

Had dinner on the deck with a large group (11 of us) and they were fantastic! Totally accommodated us. The food was fantastic! Had the gnocchi and cleaned the entire plate. Staff was super friendly. 10/10 recommend.

We were so happy to finally arrive here from the airport. We needed to eat immediately before the kitchen closed. The menu was a bit limited. Again, as with all Princess Lodges, everything was terribly over-priced. The place was welcoming but the Queen bed in our room was like sleeping on a squishy sponge. Each movement sent ripples of waves through the mattress disturbing Er your partner’s sleep. I should have slept in the worn-out looking small green chs

Our group of 11 locals enjoyed a wonderful meal on the deck . Food was excellent ! Everyone enjoyed their entrees . Our server was Viktoria and she was excellent and both her and Chef Chris were so helpful explaining the entrees to us . We highly recommend their restaurant! This year they are taking reservations for the deck which was awesome for a party of our size !

The hotel is great if you want to stay near the airport it is truly walking distance. The hotel was nice but could use some updating. In the rooms the carpet fresh was quite strong

Dinner on the deck was lovely with friends and a good bottle of wine. Crab cake, artichoke dip & bison sliders appetizers, plus, pulled pork & the scallops for dinner was amazing. I can't decide which dessert I love best Rhubarb Creme Brulee, Rhubarb Crisp or the Baked Alaska. Yum everything was so good only empty plates left on the table. Service was wonderful too. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to stop by again.

We came here first on the land portion of our Princess land & sea cruise tour, and I want to come back here already! Only having spent one full day here sandwiched in between two nights, this place has so much to offer! I could not find much online before we came, so I made sure to get as many pictures for others who are coming in the future, to give more than I could originally find. The reviews before we got here kind of scared me, but I have loved it here! The rooms are very comfortable, not offering a fridge or microwave, but if you come knowing that, you can prepare for it. They have a gift shop with a coffee menu and different convenience-store-type foods - much more like a pay for what you want for breakfast, rather than the entire continental or buffet breakfasts offered in the restaurant. So many options! The walking trail around the property offers quiet little benches and spots to just sit and relax, as well as the chef’s garden, a nice view of the river right next to the property and a little wooded hideaway portion that would be fun to explore if you have kiddos. We came right as the cottonwood had fallen, and it looks so cool covering the ground - and so soft! I highly recommend this lodge!!
